Small Groups

We believe that small groups are as important in the life of the church as Sunday worship. Large group teaching can be best applied in smaller settings, all of us need the support, encouragement and prayer of friends, and smaller groups can sometimes be more effective in reaching out to our communities.

Small group meetings often follow the "4Ws" pattern of "Welcome", "Worship", "Word" and "Works (or Witness)". That means that there is time to relax and unwind, then to spend time worshipping God, studying a passage from the Bible, and praying for each other and for situations known to members of the group.

Many groups will also have additonal get-togethers from time to time for special occassions - or just for fun. Joining a small group offers the opportunity to find a family sized setting for friendship, learning and support. Style is informal.
