Crèche and Sunday School The Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings each week during school term times. Normally Sunday school and crèche leave the service after the worship time, and go to their classes. The crèche normally meets in the rear hall and kitchen area, and the Sunday school in the house next door. (86 Victoria St.) This building is owned by the church and also is used by The Mustard Seed Book Shop. Sunday school classes are arranged in varying age groups from between Primary 1 and Secondary 1. |

There are usually enough teachers to allow a rotation of duty in monthly intervals to avoid teachers missing out on services for more than one month at a time. During the summer break, the church normally holds family services. |

Junior Christian Endeavour Christian Endeavour is an international, interdenominational organisation for children and young people. CE's motto is "For Christ and the Church" and its aims are to teach young people about the Christian gospel and help them grow into the future leaders of the church. CE does this by basing the weekly meetings around participation by everyone who comes. So instead of the adults doing all the talking, the children are encouraged to take part. That could be by chairing the meeting, choosing songs, leading in prayer, doing a quiz or Bible reading or by taking part in the main theme of the evening (referred to as the "topic"). CE isn't all serious though and we often have games and activities as well as more formal Christian teaching. Weekly CE meetings are open to children in primary 3 to secondary 1 (approx. aged 7-12). We also hold a CE camp each summer. Contact Muriel Drever on 01856 873465 for more details |
